Questions and Answers from Webinar

Can you migrate an existing GWN76XX wifi network and/or an existing UCM setup to the GCC unit?

If it managed by GDMS, you can simply add the GCC to the Wi-FI settings under GDMS. For the UCM, restoring UCM backup on GCC requires manual intervention. You can open a ticket with Grandstream helpdesk and we will convert it for you

Is it correct that the GCC6011 has only 4 PoE ports?

Yes, GCC6011 has only 4 ports with PoE output w/ total PoE budget of 36W

Can I bond multiple GB ports together on the UCC to a switch?

Link aggregation is not supported yet on GCC. That might be added in a future release.

Which Service is being used for the security signatures?

Grandstream compiles the signatures from different resources and security copanies that we push to the GCC

What happens after the one-year firewall trial ends?

The firewall will remain functional, but the signature library will stop receiving updates unless renewed. Renewal options are available for 1-year, 3-year, or lifetime updates.

Can unused modules, like the IP PBX, be disabled?

Yes, the GCC Series allows you to enable or disable specific modules through the GDMS portal.

Are these products available now?

Yes, all three models are available for purchase through Streakwave.

Will there be enterprise-focused models?

Yes, Grandstream plans to release larger models with enhanced capabilities in Q2 2025.
