Streakwave is issuing an announcement for our customers and partners regarding recent pricing changes from Ubiquiti tied to memory and storage market conditions.
Ubiquiti has announced a pricing adjustment tied to ongoing volatility in global memory and storage markets. As a result, a memory surcharge is now being applied to select products.This is a targeted adjustment on specific SKUs where component costs have been most impacted.
Ubiquiti notified its distributors and partners that volatility in the global memory and storage markets has increased hardware component costs. To address this, a memory surcharge is being applied to select products.
The surcharge is intended to help offset increased component costs while supporting continued product availability. Affected products are identified at the product level, with specific surcharge amounts tied to each SKU.
At this time, there is no defined timetable for how long these surcharges or pricing adjustments will remain in effect.
For Streakwave, products affected by the surcharge will have adjusted pricing to reflect the additional cost we incur from Ubiquiti. Rather than adding a separate line item, the surcharge will be built directly into the product price.
Surcharges will appear on the product page with a note similar to the example below:
Price includes memory surcharge of $X.XX
You will see the exact surcharge amount that Ubiquiti is applying, and it will be reflected in your price.
