August 27, 2026 --- *For more information and APP download, visit MikroTik's page: [Back To Home](https://mikrotik.com/bth)* Your home network doesn’t have to stay at home. With a compatible MikroTik router and the free Back To Home app, you can securely connect to it from your phone—whether you’re across town, at the airport, or traveling abroad. ![MikroTik-Backtohomeapp-blog](https://blog.streakwave.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Mikrotik/2026/MikroTik-Backtohomeapp-blog.jpg?width=786&height=658&name=MikroTik-Backtohomeapp-blog.jpg) Back To Home creates an encrypted WireGuard® VPN connection to your router. Once connected, you can: - Browse more securely on hotel, airport, and coffee-shop Wi-Fi - Access files, computers, cameras, and other devices on your home network - Use your home internet connection while traveling - Carry your home network’s ad blocking and other protections with you - Manage your MikroTik router remotely - Share secure, limited access with trusted friends or family Best of all, Back To Home can work even if your internet service doesn’t provide a public IP address. There’s no separate VPN subscription—the app is free, and the secure connection runs through your compatible MikroTik router. ## Find the Right Back To Home Compatible Router From affordable home Wi-Fi to outdoor coverage and LTE connectivity, there’s a compatible MikroTik option for almost every network. | Product | SKU | Best For | | --- | --- | --- | | [![2671_xl](https://blog.streakwave.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Mikrotik/2026/2671_xl.webp?width=200&height=200&name=2671_xl.webp)](https://streakwave.com/mikrotik-a42g-hbep-us-hap-be-lite-us) | [**hAP be lite**](https://streakwave.com/mikrotik-a42g-hbep-us-hap-be-lite-us) MIK-A42G-HBEP-US | -
