The Mimosa A6 access point and C6x client radio are now officially AFC-certified for 6 GHz operation — a major step forward for high-capacity, interference-aware fixed-wireless networks. This certification opens new opportunities for service providers to deploy faster, more efficient broadband in the newly available 6 GHz spectrum. Learn more about the certification from Mimosa.
4×4 MU-MIMO access point built for multi-gigabit 6 GHz performance. It’s optimized for dense client environments and offers up to 4.5 Gbps aggregate throughput, making it ideal for PTMP deployments.

Automated Frequency Coordination (AFC) enables safe 6 GHz operation by using a cloud-based system to authorize channels and power levels based on a device’s location. When AFC is enabled, the A6 or C6x checks its coordinates, requests an authorization token, and receives approved operating parameters to avoid interference with incumbent users.
With firmware v3.2.5 or newer, both the A6 and C6x support AFC in PTMP mode, meeting all regulatory requirements for controlled 6 GHz access. (PTP AFC support for the C6x is planned in a future release.)
