DIN-rail ready with PoE-in and Gigabit Ethernet for remote sites. February 25, 2026 --- When you need dependable cellular connectivity in a tight enclosure, the [MikroTik KNOT Embedded LTE4](https://streakwave.com/mikrotik-ec25-eukne-knot-embedded-lte4) is built for the job. It is a small industrial LTE gateway designed for integrators and IoT builders, with LTE Cat4, Bluetooth, and GNSS in a DIN-rail friendly form factor. The big advantage is flexibility: you can deploy it as a primary WAN uplink, an LTE backup path, or a lightweight data collection node for sensors and assets, all powered by RouterOS v7. It delivers LTE Cat4 connectivity for primary WAN or backup links, plus Gigabit Ethernet for easy drop-in integration. On the IoT side, it adds Bluetooth 5.4 for sensor/beacon workflows and GNSS for location-aware deployments like tracking and field monitoring. And because it runs RouterOS v7, you get the tools teams actually use at the edge: routing, firewall rules, VPN tunnels, and remote management for distributed sites. ## **The KNOT Embedded LTE4 at a Glance** - LTE Cat4, 2x2 MIMO downlink - 1x Gigabit Ethernet - DIN-rail mounting supported - PoE-in (802.3af/at, 12 to 57 V) and USB-C power - eSIM + Nano SIM - GPIO header (24V tolerant pins) - Bluetooth 5.4 + GNSS [ Download Full Details (PDF)](https://blog.streakwave.com/hubfs/Mikrotik/2026/KNOTEmbeddedLTE4_251211.pdf) If you need a compact gateway that can bring LTE connectivity, support BLE sensor workflows, and add RouterOS control to remote or space-constrained installs, the KNOT Embedded LTE4 is a practical building block for industrial IoT and edge networking.
