June 25, 2026 --- MikroTik has upgraded several of its LTE products from LTE Category 6 to LTE Category 7, giving installers and network operators faster mobile connectivity, expanded frequency support, and improved value without changing the trusted MikroTik designs they already know. [![MikroTik-cat7-blog](https://blog.streakwave.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Mikrotik/2026/MikroTik-cat7-blog.png?width=786&height=658&name=MikroTik-cat7-blog.png)](https://streakwave.com/search?q=%22LTE7%22&man=mikrotik&orderby=0&pagesize=25&viewmode=list&pagenumber=1) ## Why Upgrade to CAT7? The move to CAT7 brings several key benefits, including up to twice the upload speed, expanded frequency support, and lower pricing compared to previous LTE6 versions. Support for Band 32 at 1500 MHz can also help improve performance in congested areas and roaming environments. ## **R11e-LTE7** The R11e-LTE7 is a miniPCIe LTE CAT7 modem designed as a drop-in replacement for the previous FG621-EA modem. It supports speeds up to 300 Mbps down and 100 Mbps up, with added Band 32 and Band 28 support for more flexible LTE deployments. ![R11e-LTE7 miniPCIe Cat7](https://blog.streakwave.com/hubfs/Mikrotik/2026/R11E-LTE7.png) ### [R11e-LTE7 miniPCIe Cat7](https://streakwave.com/mikrotik-r11e-lte7-minipcie-cat7) MIK-R11E-LTE7 MSRP: $65.00 [Log In for Your Price](https://streakwave.com/mikrotik-r11e-lte7-minipcie-cat7) ## **SXT LTE7 Kit** The SXT LTE7 kit is a rugged outdoor LTE CPE with the new R11e-LTE7 modem inside.
