This post is adapted from Grandstream’s original blog, What is SecureAccess?
Grandstream SecureAccess gives users and administrators a mobile, cloud-based way to manage compatible GDS3720 Series Smart IP Video Door Stations. From unlocking doors to managing access permissions, SecureAccess helps simplify entry control for businesses, schools, warehouses, multi-tenant properties, and other managed environments.
SecureAccess supports several ways to unlock doors, including:
Bluetooth access includes options like app-based unlocking, hands-free unlocking, shake-to-open, and adjustable unlock distance. Temporary passwords can also be created for visitors who only need limited access.
When a visitor presses the doorbell, users can view a live video preview from the SecureAccess app. They can answer, reject, silence, or unlock the door directly from their mobile device.
Two-way audio also allows users to speak with visitors before granting access.
SecureAccess includes additional controls for compatible GDS door stations, such as:
These tools help administrators and users keep better visibility into access activity.
Administrators can manage users, permissions, schedules, holidays, visitors, and access groups from the app. Access groups make it easier to control who can use specific door stations and when those permissions apply.
Admins can also configure door stations, adjust unlock methods, review settings, and manage alarm notifications remotely.
SecureAccess provides logs for door unlocks, calls, and system activity. Logs can help administrators review access events, missed or answered calls, device activity, and configuration changes.
This added visibility can support daily monitoring and access review workflows.
Grandstream SecureAccess brings mobile convenience and cloud-based management to compatible GDS Door Station deployments. It gives users flexible entry options while helping administrators manage access, monitor activity, and control door station settings from one platform.
