Streakwave will be at the 2011 APCO Western Region Conference and Exhibition - February 7th to 9th, 2011 in Ontario, CA

What is the APCO International Western States Regional Conference?
The APCO International Western States Regional Conference is an annual Conference and Exposition hosted by regional chapters of APCO International.

Regional conferences provide annual localized venues to fill the need for the members of the public safety community to train, network, coordinate multi-state level activities and to learn about new technologies and services.

The 2011 APCO International Western States Regional Conference is structured to answer that need and to make this conference of greater importance and value to the attendees and exhbitors than ever before.

What's happening ?
The Ontario venue is near the largest population center west of the Missisippi, making the conference convenient for larger numbers of local attendees to participate, a wider choice of facilities and hotels plus excellent transportation for out-of-towners. The Southern California chapter includes agencies serving a population of over 19 million 7 counties, 190 cities, most within less than 2 hours driving time.

The conference program is expanded to accommodate professional trainers and top notch Administrative, Operational and Technical sessions. It offers training and education at a fraction of the cost and time of doing the same training one session at a time.

We believe the attendees and exhibitors alike will appreciate the expanded booth style exhibit space with strategically placed 'oasis' area throughout the exhibit area, exclusive exhibit hours and traffic building events in the exhibit area.

The Venue:
The Ontario Convention Center is a modern facility adjacent to the Ontario California International Airport and Interstate highway 10 for easy and low cost access. Two hotels offering GSA rooms rates to the group are within one block walking distance. The Ayers Suites will serve as the host hotel.

Per Member requests, WISPA is proud to hold it's first WISPA Regional Meeting in St. Louis, Mo on July 21st and 22nd.  We are currently planning three tracks, packed with information on regulatory issues, operations, marketing and other challenges the WISP industry faces on a day to day basis.

We have received great response from vendors and the Exhibition Hall is sold out.  Many vendors are participating on panels and vendor presentations about new products and services.  We also want to recognize the Platinum, Gold and Silver sponsors below.  They are covering the majority of the catering costs for this event.  Make sure and thank them for their participation.

We have secured FCC OET Chief Julius Knapp, Peter Stanforth of Spectrum Bridge, Steve Coran of Rini Coran PC and Mike Cassity from HiBeam Internet and Voice as Keynote speakers.

Another big event during this conference will be the WISP Roundtable.  This will be an opportunity to discuss the challenges of everyday operations of a typical WISP business with your peers.  It may be the most worthwhile event of the conference.

Our Industry is dynamic and in a current state of flux.  WISPA is involved heavily in the TV Whitespaces, 3.65 GHz rule making, TDWR Database work, National Broadband Plan and Stimulus Funding.  Schedule your participation for this meeting today, so you can stay up to date with current WISPA efforts.  We will insure that this will be a great event and well worth your time and money to attend.

4G World 2010 – The Transformative Year

The entire wireless ecosystem is experiencing change at an unprecedented accelerating rate.  Fueled by the explosive growth of the mobile Internet, broadly available content and enabled by ever more powerful mobile devices, wireless operators are faced with the increasing challenges of balancing user expectations and demands and investments in next generation technologies.

This unprecedented growth requires that operators reassess business models and pricing structures as well as reevaluate access and network core capacities.  It also means that operators will need to rethink their network and device management strategies and their customer support systems. The next generation of content, applications and mobility from the office, to the road and the home is being enabled by femtocells and advancements in â€Å“connected homeâ€ networks.  Context and location awareness have now become critical elements of the mobile Internet.

To seize the opportunities made possible by 4G networks applications, developers, device manufactures and operators need to collaborate and examine new ways to create and monetize applications and content.  With the advent of broadband enabled mobile Internet, the legacy of operators’ â€Å“walled gardensâ€ is giving way to new business model of monetizing the network and its content.  Those who choose to put off change are sure to put off profits.  What are the options and what are the implications?

4G World 2010 provides the most complete view of opportunities, impacts and challenges that are being recognized throughout the mobile broadband industry.  It delivers the most effective platform to both learn about and showcase the products, solutions and services necessary to deliver in the next generation of mobile networks.

A thoughtfully designed program examines all aspects of infrastructure, including LTE, WiMAX, HSPA+ and more.  This year’s conference program, complete with more than 175 speakers, includes case studies of operator strategies and deployments of 4G networks, including core and backhaul architectures, from around the globe.  Vertical applications such as M2M, Smart Grid solutions and more are covered along with emerging applications.  The 4G World conference program also examines the role of game changing technologies such a femtocells, VoLTE, cloud computing and more.  Ensuring a coplete view, 4G World 2010 includes discussions on 4G standards as well as regulatory matters.

Learn from the industry’s foremost thought leaders and innovators and those who are pioneered 4G deployments.  Network, develop business opportunities and create new alliances and partnerships with executives and decision makers from across industry and the world.

We look forward to seeing you at 4G World 2010!
