Press Release: Cambium Networks and Streakwave Announcement

Cambium Networks and Streakwave Wireless announce a definitive agreement for the distribution and sales of Cambium's wireless systems in North America, Australia, and New Zealand.

Rolling Meadows, IL, and San Jose, CA,   September 8th, 2014 — Cambium Networks, a leading global provider of wireless broadband solutions and Streakwave Wireless Inc., a global value added distributor of wireless broadband equipment, today announced the formation of a definitive distribution and sales agreement.

Under the agreement, Streakwave, headquartered in San Jose, Calif., will distribute, market and sell all of Cambium Networks’ products, including point-to-point (backhaul) and point-to-multipoint wireless systems, and the ePMP connected networking portfolios. The agreement initially covers North America, Australia and New Zealand.

“Streakwave is reaffirming our long standing relationship with Cambium Networks. Adding the ePMP family of products is the natural next step in our almost decade-long relationship,” stated Carl Moberg, CEO of Streakwave Wireless.

"We are experiencing great acceleration and adoption across all our solution platforms globally," said Atul Bhatnagar, president and CEO of Cambium Networks. "Streakwave's demonstrated velocity and international footprint will be a great asset as we continue to evolve our market offering."

The ePMP 1000  broadband wireless access platform is designed for flexibility, scalability and affordability. It has two main options: the ePMP 1000 Connectorized Radio, a non-GPS Sync version for smaller networks, and the ePMP 1000 GPS Sync Radio, which assists with congestion and interference as networks grow and require more access points (APs). The ePMP 1000 is available in both 2.4 and 5 GHz frequencies with a throughput of up to 200 Mbps per AP.
